CFVG JOB VACANCY: 02 PROFESSORS IN MANAGEMENT AND 01 PROFESSOR IN BUSINESS LAW

CFVG is looking for two Professors in Management and one Professor in Business Law. Applications are sought from distinguished MBA/Master professors with an outstanding international profile in the field.

MISSION

As Professor of Management, you will teach “Management” (it can be Finance, Marketing, HRM, etc.) or “Business Law” to CFVG programs students and as a full time professor, you will participate into CFVG development through research and daily support.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. For EMU Project:

1.1. For Management Faculty position:

  • In charge of fully preparing and writing all documents (including self-assessment report) for programs’ international accreditation and MOET accreditation/license (it can be MBA, Masters, PhD, Bachelor)
  • Collect and manage data and detailed information on the concerned program
  • Propose the quality standard process and system for programs (it can be MBA, Masters, PhD, Bachelor)
  • Coordinate with CFVG partners and authorities to check the legal procedure and legal documents and to insure the quality of EMU project’s preparation (for Faculty position in Business law)
  • Coordinate with CFVG staff to implement the new quality standard process and system
  • Actively engage in CFVG project initiatives
  • Actively participate to the CFVG project meetings and project’s preparation

1.2. For Business Law Faculty position:

  • Carefully check and propose with CFVG external legal partners, the legal procedure and legal documents necessary for the EMU project during its process of obtaining the license
  • Write, organize legal documents and coordinate legal document productions to include bates-stamping, redaction, and indexing of documents
  • Write and organizing contracts, tracking document review requests and providing reporting metrics
  • Work closely with CFVG accountant and program assistant and double check CFVG contract with professors, lecturers and other partners
  • Verify all contracts with suppliers and agencies
  • Coordinate with CFVG staff to implement the new legal standard process and system
  • Actively engage in CFVG project initiatives
  • Actively participate to the CFVG project meetings and project’s preparation

 2. For Teaching activity:

  • In charge of teaching “Management” (Finance, Marketing, HRM, etc. based on your expertise) or “Business Law” for the CFVG programs and other courses depending on the academic needs for CFVG Programs
  • In charge of fully preparing the courses in line with international accreditation requests
  • Provide each year update CV, syllabus and courses documents, innovative teaching approach
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and general constituency of the CFVG

3. For Research and publications:

  • Have strong interest in academic and practical research
  • Develop case studies
  • Select good thesis for publications

4. Institutional responsibilities:

  • Attend all CFVG meetings and events requested by CFVG Co Directors
  • Support development of other programs: promotion and communication, recruitment and defense juries for thesis; supervision of MBA/Masters thesis.
  • Other academic tasks required by the CFVG Board of management

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master is mandatory (in Management, Business or Economic, Business Law; preferred MBA or Master abroad)
  • Language proficiency: English (French would be an asset)
  • Teaching experience in the concerned field
  • PhD and proof of peer reviewed articles published in leading Management or Law journals would be preferred.

Working hours: Mo – Fri 9:00 am-12 am; 13.30 – 6:30 pm, and possibly week-ends
