How to apply

Entry requirements

  • A bachelor degree
  • 3 years of working experience in finance
  • A good ability to understand, speak and write English

We are seeking ambitious candidates who are likely to have successful future careers. Only experienced individuals who hold a university degree are admitted. All candidates must demonstrate that they have the experience and the motivation to benefit from and contribute to the programme. All the courses are delivered in English; it is therefore essential that participants speak, write and understand English fluently.

Admission process

March - Pre-application on line

Log on to http://ecampus.cfvg.org/app and fill out the on-line application form

June - Pre-selection on application form

In order to assess candidates’ suitability for the programme, we need:

  • A printed version of your online application
  • A detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
  • A cover letter explaining the interest in MMSS and the motivations of the candidates
  • Personal references: at least one reference from a previous employer, a colleague or a professor
  • Application fees amount to 30 USD (non-refundable)

Completed application must be submitted with all support documents before June 30 at CFVG. [From Monday to Friday: 9h-12h & 13h30-18h]

July - Interview

Once your application is reviewed and accepted, you will be invited to attend an interview with the selection committee made up of at least one scientific director of the programme, a CFVG director or professor.

During this interview conducted in English, candidates have to demonstrate their ability and motivation to succeed in the programme.

July - Final decision

Within two weeks after the interview, after recommendations from the selection committee are approved by ESCP-EAP and Paris Sorbonne University, candidates will be informed about the result of their interview and told either (a) that they have been selected, (b) that they are on the waiting list, or (c) that their application has been unsuccessful.

October - Programme opening

Fees

CFVG programmes are subsidized by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tuition fees for the whole course amount to 6,500 USD (may increase from 2008) and include course material (available at least 1 month prior the course on CFVG student portal), full access to CFVG library and facilities.

The tuition fees do not include the compulsory study trip to France, the cost of which is estimated to 2,500 USD including airplane tickets, transportation within Paris, accommodation and food.

Preferential loans: CFVG’s 10 best selected candidates will be granted the right to finance their studies with a preferential 5%-per-year interest rate loan. (Detailed conditions can be asked to CFVG if needed)
