ESCP Europe tighten partnership with CFVG to nurture next generation of Vietnamese business leaders

On March 2 & 3, 2010, The French – Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG) welcomed Pr. Dr. Pascal Morand, General Director of ESCP Europe, one of the top business schools in Europe and a major academic partner of CFVG. ESCP Europe is already partnering with CFVG in delivering two specialized master programs, the Master in Economics of Banking and Finance (MEBF) and the Master in Marketing, Sales and Services (MMSS), and sending professors in its MBA program. ESCP Europe will be among CFVG’s partners in establishing the PhD program which will be launched in 2010.

“ESCP Europe, School of Management for Europe, is both a high-level school of management with international scope and a large-scale European institution with five campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Turin. Each year ESCP Europe welcomes 4,000 students and a similar number of top-level executives. We highly appreciate the collaboration with CFVG in offering the ambitious Vietnamese executives a model of management which well serves the sustainable development of Vietnam’s economy.” said Pr. Dr. Morand. “Through this partnership, we aim to foster the exchange of cutting edge knowledge, innovation, students, faculty, and the management philosophy.”

“It’s a successful partnership. Our two specialized Masters MEBF & MMSS are now well recognized in Vietnam mostly thanks to the prestigious academic partners and ESCP Europe is one of the two academic partners for each of these programs. We will open this year in Hanoi our MMSS program which is already running in Ho Chi Minh city. Every year, the CFVG master students, around 200, come to ESCP Europe, Paris Campus for their two-week study trip in Paris and we hosted 60 master students from ESCP Europe in CFVG for their one-week study trip in Hanoi in February. Moreover, in the framework of the MBA program, we send students to study at ESCP Europe and receive students from ESCP Europe to study at CFVG in exchange and double diploma programs. I am confident that the opportunities presented for cross-cultural exposure and learning will do much to nurture the next generation of Vietnamese business leaders with strong international outlook”, said Pr. Dr. Bruno Ponson, CFVG’s President of The Board of Directors, “CFVG is now exciting to enter a new partnership with ESCP Europe for its project of launching the PHD training program, which will open up the space to further develop and raise our training capability in Vietnam”.

During his visit to CFVG, Pr. Dr. Morand gives two conferences on INNOVATION, one in Ho Chi Minh City, the other in Hanoi, sharing his insights on innovation and competitiveness from his ministerial mission works and experiences with high level management professionals, executives and senior public administrators.
