CFVG Graduation Ceremony of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) – 2010

On Wednesday, March 3, 2010, the French – Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG) held the Graduation ceremony for the 16th intake (2007-2009) of its Master in Business Administration (MBA) program in the presence of Pr. Dr. Pascal Morand, General Director of ESCP Europe (in Hanoi), and honored representatives from Ministry of Education and Training, French Embassy in Hanoi, French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, National Economics University, Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City and other academic and corporate partners of CFVG.

In total, 150 students are awarded the prestigious CFVG MBA degree, which raises the number of CFVG’s MBA graduates to over 1300. In addition to the record number of graduates, a record high 47 students (31%) are graduating with excellent distinction. 22 students received double degree of prestigious universities and business schools in France, such as ESCP Europe, Paris Sorbonne, Skema (Ceram) and Audencia. Almost all the graduates achieve career improvements after their graduation, which testifies CFVG’s commitment to training quality. They are currently in various managing positions in domestic and foreign companies such as Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé Vietnam, Siemens, Standard Charter Bank, Holcim Vietnam, SK Telecom, Mobiphone Vietnam, Diethelm, Prudential Fund, and Petrol Vietnam Oil. “This is a reflection of CFVG’s training quality thanks to the strong faculty, good educational programs and excellent students,” Dr. Bruno Ponson, CFVG’s President of the Board of Directors, said. “It’s our pride to see students graduate and be successful in their career lives.”

CFVG MBA is a two-year part-time program which allows students to rigorously attend the courses without affecting their work. This program has been recognized for its important role in bringing forward international specialized management knowledge for executives in Vietnam. CVFG is proud to have been the first MBA program in Vietnam to be awarded one of the major international accreditation, the EPAS accreditation, delivered by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Every year, CFVG keeps tracking with the development and changes of the Vietnamese economy and makes necessary modifications to its program portfolio, assuring that its programs comply better with the international standards while remaining suitable with the specific context of Vietnam.
