CFVG Roundtables at the FRENCH WEEK in Hanoi - November, 27

EDUCATION / EMPLOYMENT ROUNDTABLES

On the occasion of the French Week in Hanoi, CFVG Management School will organize roundtables about Education & Employment in the morning of Saturday 27, November.

These Education & Employment issues will be discussed through:

• an employment fair organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam to recruit young executives.
• a French Higher Education Pavilion with four institutions: CFVG, PUF, Campus France and USTH.
• one CFVG conference and two CFVG roundtables.

CFVG ROUNDTABLES – Program

Date: Saturday, 27 November from 9.00 am to 12.00 am
Venue: At Friendship Cultural Palace, Tran Hung Dao st., Hanoi
Language: French or Vietnamese (simultaneous interpretation)
Audience: executives and young graduates
Free entrance - No need to register

Conference – 9h00 (40 min)
“Initial and Professional training at stake for youth employment and companies’ success”
Speaker: Mr. Xavier Cornu, General Director of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry in charge of Education, Research and Training.
Mr. Cornu will offer an overview and examples of the training systems, like initial training, executive education, apprenticeship, accreditation of prior experience, etc. A Vietnamese counterpart will take part in the debate.

Roundtable 1 – 10h00 (45 min)
“The training needs”
What are the recurrent training needs in Vietnam? Are there still some missing competencies? Which type of training is necessary? Etc.
Speakers: Mr Serge Cao - HR Manager of Big C Vietnam, Mr Tran Trong Kien - CEO of Buffalo Tours, and Ms Pham Thi Huyen - Deputy Director of the Training centre of Techcombank
Moderator: Dr. Tran Van Nhu, professor at CFVG

Roundtable 2 – 11h00 (45 min)
“The relationship between training and employment”
How to promote its training so as to facilitate professional adaptation ? How to implement an Employee Training and Development Program? Are there employee training rights in Vietnam? What links exist between education centers and companies? Etc.
Speakers: Mrs Oanh Tran, CEO of HSBC Hanoi, Mr Hoang Do – Manager of Training Center of VIB, and Mrs Nguyen Phi Lan - Partner, Assurance Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam
Moderator: Dr. Truong Thi Nam Thang, professor and manager of Executive Education at CFVG
